Replies & bounces
A reply is the whole point — and a bounce is information. Both are handled automatically.
Reply detection
ColdPilot watches your sending mailboxes for answers. When a lead replies, the reply is matched to the campaign and step it answers, and with stop-on-reply on — the default — every remaining follow-up for that lead is cancelled on the spot.
The Coldbox
All answers land in the Coldbox, one unified inbox for every reply across your campaigns and mailboxes. Work the conversation there; the campaign record keeps track of who sent what.
Bounces
A hard bounce — an address that doesn't exist or refuses delivery — marks the lead as bounced and stops further sends to it, protecting your reputation automatically. Soft, temporary failures retry before they count. Each campaign's Bounces tab lists every bounced lead with the reason the provider gave.
Suppression
Bounced, opted-out, and complained addresses land on a suppression list that every campaign respects. Once an address is suppressed, no campaign will send to it again — no manual list-scrubbing needed.
